Looks like the Libertarians who were Ron Paul Supporters and the Nevertrumpers have taken over the Republican Party of Texas.
The Chairman was the leader of the "Free the Delegates" at the National Convention and tried to prevent Donald Trump getting the nomination.
After he was elected by the State Republican Executive Committee, to fill out an unexpired term, he fired many of the regular conservative employees and hired only his Libertarian and NeverTrump brethren after he promised to maintain the same staff.

Trump has lost his shine among some in TX because of the continuing MIC regime change he is fully on board with.

Well, Texans have been supporting many RINO Republicans for years. Will Hurd, ex CIA, Tx23 has his “I support the Dreamers” ad running constantly. He hangs w/ Beto O’Rourke, who is running against Ted Cruz.

I voted libertarian in a few elections and supported ron paul on his last two runs and he woukd have been a damn sight better than zero, mcain, or romney
I also donated to the trump campaign, worked fundraisers, found donors and organized transportation for more than 1000 elderly and non driver trump supporters in a swing state that barely went for trump
I do mostly identify as a libertarian but I’m pleased with what DJT has done and will support him again

Disagree. There are parents who are interested ... and dismissed in favor of biased experts who say they need to do what the liberal academics say.
They don’t have the “numbers” nor the time to fight against those waves....except when someone shoots up a school.

George P Bush is a Trump supporter... at least he’s acting that way when he’s campaigning for re-election.
The source is who the Chairman has hired. The RPT payroll has virulent Ron Paulers who vote Libertarian. One of them ran for EC elector so they could in their own words, “vote against Trump.”
All or most of his staff are of that ilk.
