How about someone who has actually made an arrest once in their life. We keep getting attorneys and prosecutors to run the place and wonder why it turns into a political cesspool.

I want a “red state” attorney general with zero background in or with the DOJ or FBI, and I want such a person to fire all the top officers under him and replace them all with outsiders as well. Don’t leave any of the institution’s “old-boy network” in place. I concur - but even that is probably insufficient. Would you actually feel comfortable with the junior agents hired under Obama’s tutelage?? Probably not a Republican in a carload - any more than there is at the top.
