I dono, if feels like a loss to me. You had the gopE, dnc and msm gin-up all this phony outrage and hysteria over enforcing the law as written. That in turn forced Trump to act, rather then forcing congress to do it’s job. None of these POSs in congress on our side will stick it’s neck out the slightest to do what is right. That just feels like a loss to me.
Maybe it sufficed to bring a large part of the picture to public attention at this time. Trump can follow on by saying more, later.
It is a loss, but not a major loss. Trump should have stood firm.
Agree. WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THE OIG REPORT. Or, how Obama and Hillary’s aids or lawyers are DIRECTLY involved, meaning O and Her are directly implicated.
Sedition? Treason?
“kid separation!! WAH! Blah blah...”
The President is taking the issue and talking point away from the left.
Congress still needs to act on immigration, and now this won’t be on the table, but rather pressure them to get his immigration bill going.
I dont think it is a loss. The kids get to stay with their parents in detention. It will then be easier to deport the family unit if their asylum claim is debunked. Right now, the kids are disappearing in the US with no way to track them down. It also prevents parents from trying to smuggle in their children to the US with a fake parent.
This EO now forces the left to now declare that it is inhumane to leave these kids in a detention facility. They will try to sue the government. It will then be apparent to all this was a political ploy to increase illegal immigration, which most Americans are against.
The left is boxed in on this issue.
