Lunacy: the agreement with Seehofer for collection centers (ahem) near the borders makes it clear that the Germans will push the migrants out to their neighbors, hence Austria's stance that they will re-establish some kind of border controls, because they don't want Germany dumping migrants on them.

Meanwhile, Merkel's "EU wide" agreement that migrants will be returned to the EU state where they first applied for asylum just dumps the problem back on the Italians and Greeks.

As one German paper noted, this could be the end of Schengen and possibly the EU.

I see a juggling of the Eu nations that is very interesting.....ten left would be interesting to see possible coming into view.
