The antifa member who was decked reportedly suffered brain damage (and may be in a coma), according to social media. Since he was attacking people with a metal pipe, shouldn’t he be under arrest?

He was defending himself from a thug wielding an Asp extendable police baton. A weapon that police are trained to NEVER use on the head because it would likely be fatal. The Antifa punk was swinging for the head. Self-defense is always permissible against deadly force.

It is probably a good thing that the Portland police “stood down.” If they had been required to intervene they would have gone after the Patriot Prayer people, I’m sure.

Not only that, it looks like he had some kind of a seizure on the way down or while hitting the deck. He was hauled off stiff as a board. Could have suffered some very severe permanent brain damage. Every so often things like that happen to professional boxers. Just shows what can happen to somebody who’s out of shape and hasn’t done any real boxing or MMA training. A human fist, when used by somebody in good shape who knows how to do it, is a powerful weapon that can easily inflict death or great bodily harm. Wallops like this seldom happen even in professional boxing matches.

The guy with weapon was attacking someone else at the very start of the video and then decided to go after Mr. Panman who was holding his ground. The attacker took a wicked hit. In the HD version, his sunglasses can be seen flying off.

There’s a good reason why professional boxers and MMA fighters do all the strength training they do. This Anitfag just learned it, probably to the point of finding himself in a wheel chair for the rest of his miserable life.
Maybe a baseball or maybe a grenade. To throw a grenade, you rally need to wind up, cock yourself like a catapult, and let fly, just like this guy did with his haymaker.
The attacker is clearly out of his league. Mr Panman dodged the first strike with the weapon and then was able to grab the weapon on the second strike attempt. He then prevented him from making further attacks with a disabling punch.
