Leftists = petulent children whose entire political philosophy is about their feelings. Their policies are all about feeling good about themselves, signaling their virtue, being proud of their high mindedness, and then putting others down who fail to meet their own lofty opinions of themselves. If you don't see things their way you are stupid, you are evil, you are a nutter. And then they pat themselves on the back for being so much more elevated.
But when they don't get their way their feelings are hurt they throw tantrums. If that doesn't work, they escalate, sometimes into violence.
