Sorry but California is an excellent example of biological determinism. Most Caucasians evolved in areas that were subjected to severe cold, moisture and less sunlight. their neurological and higher intellectual functions adapted to perform best in these conditions. Most of California is chronically warm, dry and very bright. After prolonged exposure to such conditions ,Caucasians often begin to act like the fruits and nuts that are abundant in the region.

I agree entirely. Climate conditions that are harsh, especially cold weather challenges the human animal in a drive to keep warm , to hunt in order to maintain caloric intake , to continue to mate and so many other factors. A warm, temperate even tropical climate eventually stultifies the human animal into a kind of torpor. Just look at cultures that live below the equator.
