THORNTON, Colo. Amazon announced this week that it has begun hiring 1,500 full-time positions at their new robotics fulfillment center in Thornton.
The nearly 900,000 square-foot facility opens this fall, and it will be Amazons first robotics fulfillment center in Colorado.
Applicants can apply online or walk-in (after starting online) at the company's Westminster location, 11860 Pecos Street, Suite 2200, now until Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to Amazons webpage, starting pay is $12 an hour, and they also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
12 could get you barely by here in SC.
I lived on less at different times.
A new Lowes Foods opened today and full staff. People asked about jobs anyway I heard.

Was my old stomping grounds many years ago. Housing has always been high around Dever. Don’t think 12 an hour would go very far. But who knows, maybe it’s better now.
I was there.
Good times.
$12/hr will put you on the bread line in Denver.
Please God let this place burn to the ground.
“How far does $12 an hour go there?”
no where ... house cleaning ladies are getting more than $25/hr ...
we also have a very low unemployment rate here ...
Amazon is going to have offer a WHOLE lot more than $12/hr to fill 1,500 jobs ...
