Schlichter is full of fire and fury, but I never learn anything from him. To me, he comes across as just nasty.
Bongino is great. He’s intense, but can back up his arguments and is extremely knowledgeable and persuasive.
I encourage you to find reputable sources of accurate information.
I believe my tag line here is, “still seeking...” by that I mean I’m still thinking the truth. I try to continually ask myself, “is that really true?” That approach has been extremely valuable in my personal life. Be cautious, even skeptical, but is...it...true?”
On 9/11, FR was the only source of news anyone could get to in our building. We managed to find someone who had a TV and we watched the buildings collapse, but I knew what was going on throughout the country due to FR. It’s always home.
I heard that the asteroid is likely to hit Wyoming and ignite the super-volcano!
The Left thought they had the overthrow in the bag with Mrs Bill. What they feel is cheated out of their Utopia. Everything they had worked for over the last century is a handful of ashes. Because of their unshakeable certainty that they are right their desire and need for revenge is all consuming. The insanity that has resulted makes their Utopia recede even more as it will cause them to lose their projected takeover of Congress. If the Republicans actually increase their presence in both Houses the real violence will be very close, perhaps it will break out but will be contained by Law Enforcement and the National Guard. When Trump then wins in 2020, if the bulk of the Left has not been neutralized and their new voters deported and large chunks of their old reliables not defected the Democrat controlled areas, the Cities will blow up bigger than the LA riots, much bigger.
Politics has become nothing more than “sport”, its adherents (particularly on the left) are no different thant rabid NFL, NHL, NBA, college football or soccer fans. Consider international soccer games and the hoodlums that riot during games. Have you ever stopped to wonder where the term “sports fan” or “fan” comes from? It is a shortened term for “fanatic” and that is what the left is: fanatical. They are not concerned with facts. Rather they are delusional, mentally unbalanced nutjobs that have latched on to a political cause. Facts do not matter to them. Only that their side wins, regardless as to what the issue is.
So don’t be confused. Just accept that this is the world we live in and be grateful there is a place like FR that you can come to for support.
You know, that might be true - the more they lose, the crazier they become. Be wise as a serpent - read Victor Davis Hanson and thoughtful pundits; observe, pay attention, watch your back; love your family - you really cannot control much of what is going on. And be careful. There are (always) crazy people out there. We have the Truth on our side, and we have the Constitution. And the guns.
Well actually Trump does say cash & Cohne says no no non. However, Trump says cash in counter to Cohen usage of the term financing. So cash may not even mean actual cash, but rather that it doesn’t need to be financed. It’s nothing, and who cares except Trump haters. They will not win though.

You will :-). Just be prepared. I don’t mean that you hunker down in an abandoned missile silo praying for the end of the world since you stocked up 5 years worth of rations either :-) .
Simply have a week or two of supplies on hand and make sure you have a means of self defense. That’s a dead minimum.
You can certainly prep more, but try and make the prepping a hobby and not an obsession. If it spirals into an obsession, you can go nuts. I know some people that actually embrace the idea of full scale civil war since they have a couple YEARS worth of supplies in their house.
While they may ultimately be right someday, they’ve spent the past 15 years friendless and miserable watching their 30s and mid 40s fly by in the blink of an eye. Moreover, these people have never seen war. While I haven’t myself, I’ve talked with a number of vets that have ... NONE get off on the idea of fighting at home like these people.
If the libs do go looney (and I have the same concerns ... I have a 4 year old myself), it’ll be a disorganized mess in my opinion ... and it will be isolated to cities at first, so you’ll have plenty of warning.

Things are are going to get much worse after the mid-terms. You need to quit using social media accounts and delete them. They are a danger to you for several reasons. You need to arm yourself well and stockpile ammunition in order that you may protect your family and yourself. This is not meant to be alarmist, just a caution due to the way this nation is headed. Don’t be caught out.

This cult of hate is entirely media driven. Shutting off TVs would end it for the most part. You still have your politicians stirring things up and community organizers wanting to riot, but TV is the main driving force that is wrecking this nation.

You are not crazy. Nothing is amiss in your world or brain or perceptions. You are a perfectly intelligent human being asking great questions and having solid instincts. The internet and the news have turned into a very perspective based medium--advocating with bias and intent most often. Both all large and small levels. It is purposeful to create hype, outrage, and dissension where there is no dissension, outrage (except for the small amount of people who originate it.), or preference.
You are right to come back here to get a sense of your own perspective and to question all of this false reality that is sold as reality. We have a perspective here too on FR. Similar to your own. But at the same time. In the real world. Real people are just going about their lives. Most are just trying to survive and enjoy their lives. Us that are more political have a lot to contend with as the opposing side of us are often ginned up and thrown red meat everyday. And we have our perspective that is the opposite and have to sadly counter its truth each day ourselves through our own sources as the lies are pervasive and constant.
Sadly having to do this keeps us too in a state of having to work hard to figure out what is truth and fiction. We live in a sad time of constant manipulation of reality that is a cottage industry online and in the media.

Try accusing them of racism, bigotry or any of their standard bullshit - before they accuse you.

Oh, they get ticked. But the point is made. And on some sites I have a sig that explains those responses. One of my earlier sigs said, “’I disagree’ means I’m responding to an unsupported assertion.” And this is a site where you have the same people arguing with each other. You become a known entity.
I replaced that eventually with the old “Opinions vary.”, which I stole from Dalton in the movie Road House. The context is clear, and they know it.
And the phrase “high minded” is an opinion I disagree with. I’m always respectable even when they call me vile names. Of course, on most of the sites I frequent, they’ve abolished that, somewhat reducing the membership to only those that can keep their cool.
On youtube videos my posts of that sort become “trump-like trolling”. It drives them nuts only to expose themselves with further rants. And it’s like taking candy from a baby.
