The remedy is very simple. The “patient” has to cut themself off of the LameStreamMedia and social media for at least six months. Whether or not they have to repeat that will depend on whether the anxiety returns after they reconnect to the LameStream and social medias. For some, avoiding the anxiety might require a permanent disconnect from the Lamestream media. /sarc

We starting working to minimize our MIAS decades ago. We cancelled subscriptions to NewsWeak/Slime and the San Francico Gay Daily fishwrap.

Also, we stopped watching the so called Sunday Talk shows.

During the Bush years we stopped watching ABCNNBCBS so called news and the so called comedy shows from liberals.

During the 2016 election we gave up on Faux News, and I stopped reading the WSJ on our weekly trips to our library.

We still watched the local Faux semi news except before bedtime as it became the local gore/bloody stories instead of news. We gave up on it when they and the national FAUX would double team fake news on Mr Trump before he was sworn in.

Then, we gave up on the NFL due to the Former Niners allowing their National Felon League to disgrace our country and flag.

A year ago in July, we cut the cable. Besides saving $150 per month, we avoid paying any liberal network or local tv station a monthly fee. We use Sling Blue as our tv provider, and it does not carry ESPN, ABC or Disney. So they get 0 $’s from us each month.

So we are less depressed, happier and saving over $150 month.

A good “dictator” wanting to foster a more “democratic” society, would either ban, or make the Democratic party host and pay 100% for the “Sunday Morning” ABC/CBS/NBC “talk shows” as - since long before Fox and folks like Hannity, et al, they have been do different than political advertisements for the Democrats.
