Newcomb was one out away from pitching a no-hitter against the Dodgers today.

Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker did the right thing by letting Newcomb go as far as possible, throwing 134 pitches, before allowing a hit to my road weary Dodgers (11th game in 11 days).

Great game kid, congrats on the dominating win.

Another victim of the communist media’s kangaroo court system.

Stalinist repression of speech.

True.

Newcomb is a decent pitcher, but tonight he is fighting for his career.

Hank Aaron is a Braves executive, he must be fuming tonight.

Indeed, he was 1 strike away.
