I think it's the latter. Truthfully, I've always admired him a little. Yes, he's a helluva ballplayer, but he has also managed to stay clean despite all the wealth and accolades showered on him and seems to be a good family man too. But if he's going to start venturing into the political realm, that's a whole 'nother matter!
