FINALLY, someone, there may be others, who understands what the Frankfurt school contributed to the present day political and social culture of the United States. I wish DJT would start working this into his rally appearances.
What the Frankfurt School pulled off was identity theft on a massive scale. In other words, the identity of decent, patriotic, hard-working, self sacrificial men and women was stolen from them and projected upon self centered, neurotic, double-minded, hedonistic, parasitic, sexually perverse predators. Today, the former are demonized as racists, bigots, homophobes, sexists, and xenophobes who are mentally ill while the latter are upheld as social role models and permanent victims of the former. Try explaining this to most people and they’’ll accuse you of being a conspiracy theorist.
