A pair of Twitter users whose posts exposing offensive tweets by baseball players went viral over the weekend say their aim was not malicious but to give fans a fuller picture of whom theyre cheering for, and to expose the sports toxic culture.
In exclusive interviews with The Associated Press, both users said they werent looking for the years-old tweets from Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader or Atlanta Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb, but when the posts came across their timelines, they felt obligated to share them.

Oh yeah right...let hey weren’t looking for the tweets
Sure they were. Who pays attention to the tweets of a baseball player or their time line unless you’re looking for somethings ng
“Forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us.”
Yes, there’s no excuse for racist crap, but it also seems to be that there was an agenda involved before these particular ‘tweets’ were found. Plus, if this teenager has a problem with what was said, how about writing to the source of the comments and letting them respond - before you use this as an example to impugn the integrity of the entire sport of baseball.
My answer: I am cheering for human beings who play professional baseball.
If they are violent criminals, they should not play.
If they say offensive things on a regular basis, they should be told to shut up and play.
If they said offensive things when they were teenagers and have not done it since, they should be able to tell the accusers to shut up and go away, and we should all join them in saying as much to the accusers.
Here endeth the lesson.
Horse crap. Payback from the Left and an attempt to divert press attention from the NFLs anthem controversy.
Take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee: for often times also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.
-Ecclesiastes 7:21
Another case of leftists harassing openly on Twitter.
You did it because you hate America and want to find a way to attack every institution. You POS, I couldn’t give a flip about the behavior of a baseball player, or his opinions. All I care about is the escape into the national pastime to forget SJW like you.
Go Yankees, the only team without a homo day!
Typical lefty BS, judging the past by today’s standards to further their agenda.
Yes. Now he should comb thru tweets of the NBA and the NFL, see if there are any loose lips there. But he won’t. Because you know why.
Remember when Laura Ingraham lost advertisers because she dared to criticize 17-year old David Hogg?
So we are holding everyone responsible for shit they did when they were seventeen?
Its crap like this that will drive social media into the ground.
I don’t believe it. I think it was some Pajama Boy living in Mommy’s basement.
Really? We’re going to make a fuss over things people posted when they were 17? They were quoting movie lines and probably rap lyrics. They were kids.
The real question is “did they even bother to look at the tweets of minority players?”
No, I don't think anybody really gives a rip about those teenage tweets.
