Don’t know those neighborhoods specifically, but there’s a map showing these “problems” seem to cluster geographically.

“Back of the Yards” also seems to be a top contender.

I'm going to have to look at that map. IIRC, "Back of the Yards" is just North of Auburn/Gresham. It would make sense that gang-banging thugs have spread into that area.

I'm so glad I don't have to commute into the city for work anymore. The commuter train I used to take passed through Wrightwood and Auburn/Gresham which looked like bombed out/firebombed out warzones on their best days. I used to take pictures and post them here on FR when these kinds of threads came up so people could actually SEE what those neighborhoods looked like.
