It is an infiltration of the church.
Microcosms need to be considered too — microcosms are the basis of a lot of bible preaching to believers. Universal theory doesn’t take away from the importance of local practice.
That created a lot of incursions — incursions which finally got the church to begin waking up and drawing lines. The cake-inscription cases exemplify this. Are we going to make enemy tanks? No way.
You think too much, but God Bless Ya!
I got a crazy thinker of a brain.
The bible puts it more classically: “run so as to win.”
You see how the infiltrators are, It has always been this way.
We bring a hot dish, not a gun.
It is what it is.
There’s a war and it’s spiritual. I kind of doubt it turns physical while the poorest are the most likely to be obese, and are the most entertained poor people ever.
Freegards
Well, I’m just a sinner boy, But I try.
There is good reason I aint a preacher.
Yeah... a guarantee to “win in the end” ought to warn us that kicks in the pants may be administered by the Lord to get us moving that way when we weren’t. The “doubt” applies to the small scale, not the ultimate scale. And it ought to, because we don’t know our own ignorance and unbelief until we encounter a situation that tests it. Another word for it is humility. “Lord I cannot do this.” To which He then answers “Yes with My power you can; here’s how.”
If there is one thing that God hates, it is mans traditions(bullshit) that makes God’s word void.
What you see is the explanation to the thinker of “run so as to win.” That’s a biblical thing to do. Misusing God’s word is also wrong, sir.
Have you read Did You Learn To Love? by Bonnie Jones
Profound...
Too many playing God these days. Even I do here and there and it breaks my heart, but Jesus always forgives.
It’s like Arjuna on the battlefield asking Krishna what to do. Brother against brother, family against family.
So basically Lord Krishna say to fight the battle over good versus evil.
Seems like we’re about right at that point now.
Bhagavad Gita

The origin of thought and the awakening of the sub-conscience to the normal awareness. (Something that has happened to me)
Hence, becoming a Libertarian/Conservative (Anti-abortion, though)
Krishna never died on a cross for my sins nor was raised again to bring me new life, however. So there’s a limit to how far the parallel can be pushed.
Yes it is and its going to get real hot!!
But as far as thought is concerned, the bible cuts right to the chase. “How precious are Your thoughts toward me, O Lord.” (Psalms 139:17-18) God was thinking about us before we started thinking at all. And now that we are growing, our minds can start to meet God’s and (this is important) learn His way of thinking.
There are some parallels, some differences, between the guru view and the bible view. But the bible view goes further and posits a far more powerful and loving God. You pay your money and you take your choice, but I go for the power and love. I need it.
Cool. I think it’s the same God: The god of Abraham, the god of Ibrahim, the god of Brahman.
It’s hard to say. May God bless and keep you safe.
The thing that I’m trying to wrap my mind around lately is the possibility that there may actually be simultaneous truths.
For example, is the earth really round of flat? Both theories seem to be mathematically true at the same time, which seems impossible.
Perhaps it depends on one’s perspective.
Sort of like in physics: Is it a particle or a wave? It seems to depend on the method of viewing, which involves a participant. Weird stuff, I know, but nonetheless...
All the best to you and yours. Thank you for the thoughtful reply.
