If Shelby had supported Judge Roy Moore, we’d have one more GOP Senator and one less Dem Senator. The margin is so slim it was crucial that Shelby jump in and support Moore.

Nothing this year...next run is 2020, with Jones coming up at that point.
Oddly, this week....our adultery-ex-Republican-governor (Bentley) stood up and said he might run. Most folks had a laugh over that one.
Presently, the figured GOP guys for 2020 are Strange (former state AG), Mayor Battle of Huntsville (Mr ‘JOBS’), and Mo Brooks (Representative). On name recognition, we also have this gal named ‘Twinkle’ Cavanaugh moving up. ‘Twinkle’ might be the eventual person to replace Shelby
