Just a FYI; Mom recently related that in the 40's and up to the early 60's in Texas, when you sold a home you took the swamp cooler with you when you moved.
New home owners had source their own if they chose to do so.

Swamp cooler is an unfortunate name. I guess it is solid, proven technology, but I feel more comfortable moving into a home in our new location in Phoenix where regular AC is available.
