Nicolle. You are claiming virtue you don’t have a right to. I would, and have given a lot to immigrants - and am personally responsible for a significant number of legal immigrants getting green cards. I’ve watched them have families, and build lives. I would give a lot to help them, and have done my best.

That said, none of us have any right, let alone responsibility, to help people who have broken our laws and who are here illegally. If they are truly persecuted, and they are here seeking escape from their countries of origin, then I will fight for them. If, however, they are just ‘bending the rules’, for personal gain, I will pass.
