Tamar Braxton Responds to Delta Airlines Statement Rebuking Her Unusual Behavior
Wednesday, August 1, 2018
Tamar Braxton has responded to a Delta Airlines statement blaming her unusual behavior and her refusal to follow a flight attendants instructions during a recent flight.
Tamars sister Towanda accused a Delta pilot of ridiculing Tamar after the pilot left the safety of the reinforced cockpit to deal with the part-time singers unruly behavior.
@tamarbraxton got ridiculed by a pilot for flying while black on Delta, Towanda wrote in an Instagram post dated July 28. Wow! I guess being a diamond and double million miler dont matter @delta Shame on you #WhyArePeopleSoMad #flyingwhileblack #smh.
But Delta released a statement siding with the pilot, who followed all protocols and procedures except for leaving the safety of the reinforced cockpit to deal with Braxtons childish behavior.
Its crucial for the safety of every flight for customers to be willing and able to follow crew instructions. When these customers exhibited some unusual behavior and refused to acknowledge our flight attendants instructions, the captain addressed them directly to ensure the safety and security of the entire flight, Delta said in a statement to Fox News.
Tamar posted a cryptic message on Instagram in response to Delta (see the message below).
Delta said the pilot left the cockpit to scold Tamar out of an abundance of caution and to keep the flight from being delayed.

Watch the video.
The Captain performed his duty in keeping the plane and passengers safe from those that are unwilling to listen and follow passenger safety instructions.
Watch five minutes of their show on TV and you will actually feel your intelligence running out of your ears on to the floor.
Ill take your word for it and avoid that.
How is this news?
Does "...while black" mean never having to follow the instructions of authorities?
I can forgive "driving while black" when one is alone in a car, but "flying while black" involves 200 other people who are "flying with black" when that person gets indignant over having to behave according to the rules.

Interfering With a Crewmember
Actions that dont rise to the level of a physical assault (or the threat of an assault) can nonetheless dangerously affect the ability of the crew to keep the plane flying safely. Accordingly, the FAA can impose civil penalties (fines) for interfering with a crewmember who is performing official duties aboard an aircraft that is being operated. Almost any offensive or disruptive behavior that distracts the crew can be considered interference, such as:
physically blocking a flight attendant from walking down the aisle or out of the galley
disobeying repeated requests to sit down, return to your seat, or turn off an electronic device
making threats to hurt a flight attendant, a pilot, or anyone else on the airplane, and
from the ground, shining a laser beam into a cockpit.
(14 C.F.R. § § 91.11, 121.580, 135.120.)
It can be difficult to tell the difference between an assault and interferencebut the difference is crucial. As just explained, interference is a civil wrong, and assault is a criminal offense. And in fact, any sort of offensive touching or threats against a crewmember can constitute both interference and assault. Usually, however, people are charged with assault only if they physically attack a crewmember or cause injury.
Keeping Your Cool at 30,000 Feet
Any time you disobey a crewmembers instructions, you run the risk of violating federal law. But civil penalties and criminal prosecutions usually result only when passengers repeatedly ignore, argue with, or disobey flight attendants; or when they act out in a way that is dangerous.
To avoid trouble in case of a disagreement:
If possible, do as you are asked.
Do not raise your voice or make threats.
If youre having a problem with an attendant, ask to speak to the flight attendant in charge.
Never, ever touch a crewmember.
Black Troublemakers sounds like......Omarosa wannabes!
I change the channel when the commercials for their TV show are on. They’re disgusting.
[[What’s a Tamar or Towanda]]
