Talk about blowing yourself up! That’s what New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo did yesterday by saying, “America was never that great.” He went on: “We have not reached greatness. We will reach greatness when every American is fully engaged.” You can hear Cuomo for yourself in the video above.
That is a ready-made ad for Republicans if he should ever run for President!
Even the “Morning Joe” crew was astounded. They mocked Cuomo for being so dumb as to say this. But you know what – this is what many on the Left believe but are not honest enough to say out loud. . . .

“They mocked Cuomo for being so dumb as to say this” is not the same as mocking him for what he said.

That’s true! They just hate Trump can use it against Democrats. They don’t hate what he said.
The Democrats set up their opposition to the President by being for anything he is against and against anything he is for. This was a bad decisions as it restricts them on what they can say and do.
The economy is improving so they are against all the policies that helped the economy.
Americans are feeling good about themselves so they must point out just how bad America has been and is now.
The President wants to control our borders and so the Democrats want no borders and welcomes all including terrorist (like the one captured in Sacramento) and gangs such as MS 13.
The President wants lower taxes, the Democrats jump in and demand higher taxes.
See how that works?
The problem for the Democrats they have no room to compromise or to make deals. Their base will not allow them to.
So on any subject they can not say they agree with the goal but disagree with the process. This is of course a lie, but not an obvious one. It at least gives them a seat at the table where they could perhaps shape things their way.
But by automatically disagreeing with the President you end up making stupid career killing remarks such as AMERICA HAS NEVER BEEN GREAT.
Keep it up Democrats the Red Wave is just getting bigger.

When someone in my family does something bone-headed, it’s “ah...I’m Fredo smart.” Happens a lot. To mostly me according to my wife.
