There actually were moderate Democrats back in the 1970s. Bill Nelson probably was one of them.

That was long ago. As the Democrat party rushed headlong into perversion, Bill Nelson has trailed right along.

Nelson was one thing then. Forty years later he's something else.

He was a good representative. When they get to the Senate, somehow they turn into progressives. Lawton Chiles was a good example of that. Bill Nelson was President Obama's lapdog. I'm glad he's finally being called on it.
