Paris Dennard says it is widely known in Washington that if you have a Security Clearance you will get paid more money to consult with private firms. Mudd denied it by saying he doesn’t get paid anything BY THE US GOVERNMENT because of his clearance. Dennard caught his sleight of hand and said he wasn’t talking about pay from the Federal Government, but private entities.
