Why should it be any different for these people? ...................... They are the self acclaimed elite, and they deem themselves as untouchable and entitled to privileges. I was a G-2, this horse crap going on is insane. A clearance in the wrong hands can be as dangerous as a Nuke. I always told people that if you see and know too much, you are a weak link. If it means taking clearances away from potential leakers, by all means DO IT! Its normal procedure, a clearance is awarded to you for the slot you are in, once out, the clearance is gone.

Plus, I would think a clearance should be reviewed and have to be updated. You obviously know how it works, and I certainly have no knowledge of this, but it would make sense that maintaining clearance would be an ongoing process subject to ongoing review.

I taught at the local school for 29 years before I retired. I still sub there occasionally, everyone there knows who I am. My access to the school’s records, email system etc. was erased a couple of days after my last day. Your question is spot on. Why should it be different for them?
