Oh really! You haven’t noticed all the articles posted here from the Slimes, Newsweak, NBC, ABC, BBC, CNN, Vox, Politico... Are those you consider “real news”?
Not to mention all the editorials posted that are just people’s opinion not news. And satire is just another (very effective) form of opinion, plus it can be quite entertaining and a great weapon to use on your enemies.
And John’s satire is actually 99% real news with only 1% exaggeration to drive home the idiocy of what he’s satirizing. That’s what makes it so good and effective.
Loosen up a bit, you’ll enjoy life more.
