Microbreweries have been around in the US since the 1980s. Much longer in Europe.

Pineapple has been on pizza since 1962.

Kale became popular in the 1990s.

And that a no gluten diet was necessary for people with celtics disease was certainly known in the 1980s.

It can be argued that it was known in the 1920s.
