One more thing I like about WM grocery pickup. If you order something they don’t have, eg, 1 dozen Eggland’s Best Eggs @ $2.62, they will substitute with 18 Eggland’s Best Eggs at the price of 1 dozen/$2.62. Ditto for other items.

“Believe it or not WalMart has almost brutal standards for Produce and meat. “

.
when my oldest was working through college, he was assistant manager at Walmart. He said the same thing, their standards on meat and produce were second only to SAM’s club.

In addition, his friend worked at SAM’s (right next door), and he said at 6am (before SAM’s opens to the public) all the restaurants load up at SAM’s. Sam’s has the best meats around Chicagoland. Even what you as a SAM’s member get (which has been picked over by the restaurants early in the morning) is way better than our Jewel foods or any butcher in the area.

We use a Hungarian / Polish butcher for things like sausages and smoked/specialty meats though.

At least that is how it is around here, not sure about other states.

They’re called “millenials”. Do not approach. They bite.

“BUT IT’S ONLY FOR GROCERIES!!!!”

I’ve tested it and bought a few items that weren’t groceries (charcoal lighter, a folding camp chair). Try searching for what you want, you might be surprised.
