Why Rod Blagojevich will be home for Christmas

His commutation of Blago will confirm that Trump knows all about 3D justice: Diversion-Distraction-Disinformation

President Trump will commute former Illinois Governor Rod “Blago” Blagojevich’s prison sentence in time for Blago to be home for Christmas, after 6-plus years in the Federal Correctional Institution at Englewood, Colorado.

When it happens, the reaction from the two major newspapers in Chicago is predictable. The Chicago Tribune and the Sun Times, but particularly the “Trib,” will be apoplectic. Hints to that response have surfaced.

Trump is both our Zaphod Beeblebrox and the 6 man decision making council in one. (Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy reference).

Blago is an Illinois Democratic. Why would Trump bother with a guy from the Democrat Machine.

Trump and Blago are friends; remember that Blago was a contestant on “The Apprentice”.

Blogo is going to say some interesting things about the Madigan crime cartel. I wonder what he knows about Obama as well.

Senator Dick Durban has to run in 2020 for re-election.

Not to say it would happen, but there are a fair number of people in Illinois who liked Blago, and I could see a scenario where he runs against Durban in the primary.

Why not?

The only crime Blagojevich committed (any differently then any other Democrat) was he thought the Senate seat was his to sell. Silly Rabbit. The Senate seat was much too valuable for a mere Governor to sell so he had to be a object lesson to others, not to go against the mob (in this case the corrupt Democrat leadership).

The democrat machine did not keep Blago out of prison. Maybe more democrats will at least begin to see what the democrat machine will do to all of them if given the power to replace this Republic with their globalist commie form of govt. The democrats are as vulnerable as Republicans when they get in the way of the Uni Party globalists. Also, Pres Trump is doing the right thing in this case. Big case of double standard involving Obama.

I’m thinking Blago is safe in prison...out on the streets, not so much. He’ll need to be in a witness protection program or he may be “robbed on the street, with no valuables taken, and killed”. Some administrations need “Dead men tell no tales” in their public records.

Rod Blagojevich was sacrificed by Patrick Fitzgerald in order to cover up Barack Obama's role in the selling of his Senate seat.

Also caught up in the scandal was Jesse Jackson Jr., which is why Jackson Sr. had no place in Obama's administration and led to the rise of Al Sharpton to fill the void.

I live in Illinois and followed the Blagojevic and George Ryan cases very closely.

George Ryan via the Secretary of State's office sold CDL's to criminal illegal aliens and other unqualified Commercial Truck Drivers in exchange for campaign cash while Ryan was running for Governor here. His actions cost the lives of many people, including six children from one family. Ryan received a mere 5 years in prison.

By comparison, Blago's actions killed NO ONE and most would consider his actions here in Illinois innocuous, and far less aggregious than the horse trading that goes on in Illinois' corrupt politics.

Blago got 14 years, almost triple that which Ryan got.

Anyone who doesn't see the injustice here is truly blind, and I say that as no fan of Blago or Illinois' corrupt politics.

Blago went to prison for some of the crimes Obama committed.

Blago should be a lesson to Arizona’s governor. If he gives McCain’s seat to McCain’s wife as part of a deal with the McCain family, that could be as criminal as what Blago did. There would be a quid pro quo, Ducey is getting something of value out of that., I guarantee it.

As much as I and many others(many from Illinois,I’m sure)would like to see this man serve a full stretch,it would almost be worth it if his release & testimony would mean Obama & certain others going to prison;preferably for life.
