Right, I was thinking the venue of which he’s invited to speak is kinda strange...

In this “Golden Age of Journalism” one of its supposed “stars” is taking speaking engagements at the American Society of Travel Agents. OK.

What specifically did President Trump do to tick off the Negroes? I'm sort of baffled. Instead of naming calling I'd like to hear verifiable facts.

It's like the angry black woman syndrome. Some people are just naturally prone to be p*ssed off, hateful, and angry. It is in their DNA.

The problem with race baiters like Tapper is they are so focused on things that aren’t there that they begin to project their own thoughts and feelings into the narrative to make it fit.

In this case Tapper is clearly a huge racist so by misdirecting and accusing others of being what he is; he feels vindicated.

Nope. Sorry racist Tapper. It simply doesn’t work that way.

No, his policies are built on racism. Just because of someone’s race we are suppose to let them break our laws and come here illegally.

I just found out that AT&T owns CNN. Am shopping for new phone service.

The natural disposition is always to believe. It is acquired wisdom and experience only that teach incredulity, and they very seldom teach it enough. The wisest and most cautious of us all frequently gives credit to stories which he himself is afterwards both ashamed and astonished that he could possibly think of believing.

The man whom we believe is necessarily, in the things concerning which we believe him, our leader and director, and we look up to him with a certain degree of esteem and respect. But as from admiring other people we come to wish to be admired ourselves; so from being led and directed by other people we learn to wish to become ourselves leaders and directors . . .

The desire of being believed, the desire of persuading, of leading and directing other people, seems to be one of the strongest of all our natural desires. - Adam Smith, Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759)

You have to be “naive as a babe to believe” anyone who claims to be (not to try to be but actually to be) objective. Most especially, anyone who makes that claim while knowing that s/he is systematically negative. (the correct word to describe such a claim is “cynicism”).

AT&T bought a hot potato. I hope they are smart enough and maybe decent enough to change things concerning CNN. They may want to, but think they have to do it carefully and slowly.
