“Not a party line like Carnival “
Back in the ‘80s we went on Carnival. Once. It was a ghetto ship. Teenagers ripped bathroom mirrors off the walls. On decks, they had their boom boxes blasting. (My friend threw one of the boom boxes overboard after several requests to turn it down.) There was a hole in the wall between our bathroom and the cabin next door. Another couple from work was in that cabin, so we had conversations in the morning without walking into the hall. It seems that the dining room was more like picnic table. The food was worse than the food we served to the homeless in California. Maybe they’re better now, but I’m not willing to take that chance.
Carnival owns Princess now. Thank Heaven they’re keeping standards separate.
