The son of a neighbor who cuts my lawn thinks he wants to serve in the Marines or the Army. He is a really nice fellow and a fine young man. In all truth I am conflicted when he asks me about enlisting. The military seems as corrupted as the rest of our government. Any input?
He could always shoot for a military academy like VMI or the Citadel, or sign up with a state militia, to the extent that his legisl00ters allow them.
