Go buy a gun this weekend. Go crazy and buy 2. Buy American made gun products. Federal ammo. Hoppee gun cleaning. Uncle Mikes holsters. Buy a gun. Buy a scary one that is black. Buy one with the idea that you are doing so because the 2nd amendment is in place to protect the populace and individual from an onerous government, not for hunting, not for self defense. Buy more guns and send a message.
Well, that's to be expected since they have their heads up their ass most of the time...
The only thing that makes a gun a gun is the fact it is a tube able to withstand the charge, that can be closed off at one end.
Australia doesn't talk about it much but they are discovering the truth of this.

I stand 100% in the corner of Defense Distributed, which is to say that I stand in favor of the 1st and 2nd Amendments. I cannot wait until a Circuit Court either rules the District Court’s order to be flagrantly unconstitutional or, in the alternative, that the Circuit Court rules the same way and the Supreme Court slaps both of them (and all of these anti-gun, anti-free speech tyrants) down - HARD.
FWIW, the present 3-D printing technology available to consumers for a reasonable price is very low quality. I would not want to shoot any of the firearms produced using the available blueprints and materials (though I HAVE downloaded all of them, just because I can, and just because it is a thumb in the eye of those tyrants). However, in 5-10 years’ time, the available blueprints, machines and materials will be far better suited to making a high-quality firearm in the privacy of one’s home...and I look forward to that day (please see my tagline).
In the meantime, a far more effective way to shove our freedom far up the netherregions of the tyrants is to buy an 80% receiver (widely available online from many, many manufacturers) for an AR-15, AR-10, Glock, Gov’t Model .45, Ruger 10/22, etc. These are made from very high-quality materials (usually identical to those used by “real” gun manufacturers), and can be made into 100% receivers suitable for assembly into fully-functioning firearms with the use of a drill press or router, and the appropriate jig. AFAIK, there are several tens of thousands of people each month who do this nationwide, and it is fully legal to never even put on a serial number in the vast majority of states (with the usual fascist/communist states being the exception).
Go forth and manufacture - do it for your liberties, and do it to stick it to the tyrants in our society.
