Lab flask...you’re right.

I have my doubts that that particular item is that old.

I didn’t know they made class containers 2000 years ago.

They did.

There was a slave from around this time who dropped one of his master's glass goblets.

So he was thrown into a pool with carnivorous (probably moray) eels.

Wow, that slave owner probably had a low turnover rate of slaves.

Snowflakes would have had a tough time back then. lol

I don't know. Killing someone over a broken glass seems a little snowflake-y to me.

If its wine, don’t put it in a new wine skin.

Is it beyond the expiration date? If so it must be discarded. ;)

That area was part of the Roman Empire (Ovid was exiled to Constanta, Romania, west end of the Black Sea), but was heavily settled by Greeks and (in Ovid's time) Scythians. Depending on the ethnic background, this bottle could have held retsina, or wine with pine resin, it's a very old Greek tradition.

I may have been wrong about early glass being blown..it was molded into vessels that long, but from what I found it has been found to be blown around 2000 years ago. I was really interested in glass at one time, my brain may be getting foggy... This is what I found as at least a good start:
