Great news for that area of our state!
I once dated a really beautiful girl from Chester. She had such a strong accent that I often could not understand her.
When I asked where she was from I thought she said “Shasta”. I finally had to get her to spell it.

Congrats, SC
I wish our area would be hospitable to new light industry,
but we are heavily disposed to low skill, low-income jobs that support local fat cats.
I expect to be reading about great things coming out of Chester, SC

A couple of counties above me.
Chester could use it.
We’re a couple of counties away and getting in on the action. https://www.foxcarolina.com/news/recycling-plant-to-open-in-cherokee-county-bring-new-jobs/article_64197eb2-b200-11e8-91bc-2f2fec79113f.html
“I once dated a really beautiful girl from Chester.”
Me too! Mine was crazy though.
Mine was not crazy, but she was boring. She sure was pretty tho. It was a one time date.
Looking back I sort of wish I had taken the time to get to know her better. It was probably me as I never asked her what she wanted to do.
