This is
C-H-I-C-K-E-N
S-H-*-T !!

No offense to you and thank you for trying to explain but the game appears to be f*cked by morons.

I remember when I was an enthusiastic follower of the game during the Borg-McEnroe contests. The only arguments I remember centered around McEnroe going apesh*t over whether a serve was on the line or a quarter inch out.

Now the rules are about effing bananas.

More power to Serena! She’s trying to compete in a game overseen by morons.

As for me, I don’t need to follow this crap.

Professional sports still have provision for sportsmanship.

It’s more than just the mechanics of the score.

Part of being a singles’ champion is being able to compete on your own, without excuses.

FWIW, one of the rules of the USTA is to not allow discrimination. Lots of players use that rule as a crutch, claiming their inability to win a point is based upon somebody discriminating against them, allowing them to win a point or game by the opponent being forced out.

Serena is just using another crutch as an excuse to not win by her own merits.

Some perspective - Serena was given a warning for coaching, not a penalty. Everyone gets warnings, all referees are different, you shrug it off and keep playing - especially at a critical point of the match. Serena was her own wost enemy.
