Actually legally Twitter and Facebook are working under an exemption from the laws that pertain to publishers.

They also of course owe truth in advertising — and truth to their investors.

And, they are just the tip of the iceberg. Lots of ways such political company managements have to cut off access to, for example, a cloud platform or even a trust certification.

Moreover, you have as it is “social credit scores” controlling thoughts and actions in China, with clear interest in implementing the same here—as much as we will allow.

I really think you have your head in the sand over this threat to freedom and democracy.

I think that people get worked up over things in the echo chamber.

Look at Facebook. Hardly anyone under 40 uses Facebook that much. At least not in the US. Twitter will be out of business in 5 years. They have the President as their number one user and they still haven’t figured out how to monetize it.

My head is not in the sand. But I appreciate how Twitter and Facebook simply repeat things over and over. Most people—most voters—stopped listening a long time ago.
