Several years ago one of my sons made a bicycle trip from his home in Maryland to Oregon. When he reached the Pacific Ocean, he threw into it a pebble he’d brought from a beach in Maryland.
That’s awesome. I imagine that was a lot more exciting than my version, where I only go across half the country and never leave my gym.
