The problem with many vanity posts is the person doing the posting has been thinking about an issue.

They then post their thoughts mistakenly believing everyone is up to speed on the thoughts and ideas in their head.

Details matter. Context matters. Complete and full explanations matter.

I don't clearly understand the headline or the post.

I'm not trying to be a d*ck. I hope this helps you with future posts.

Adsense (along with Adwords) basically monetized Google and turned them into the gigantic mega-billion behemoth they are today.

I think what the poster is asking is, after AdSense, which ad network is the best one to monetize a website. I'm guessing that the poster doesn't want to use AdSense because of Google's fascistic streak, which if so is a laudable reason to not do business with them. Back in the day, networks like Tribal Fusion and Burst Media were good choices for monetizing sites, but I'm not even sure they exist anymore. It seems like AdMob might be one to look at, but that is for mobile monetization.

"I think what the poster is asking..." "I'm guessing that the poster..."

We shouldn't have to think or guess what the poster is asking.

It's the responsibility of the poster to express his views clearly and in a manner understandable to readers.

The problem is too often people who post vanity posts express their ideas poorly and seem to believe everyone knows what they're talking about.

That's why they get the bunny with the pancake meme.

I thought it was just me on some of the vanities. Couldn’t figure where they were pointed in and for what purpose. Then again, I’m a bit on the dense side... LOL Thank you, for your guidance for vanities!

You are right, although in my case I understand the question and am curious myself...but that's because I do tech for a living.

This might be a question for Stack Overflow or something similar.
