Do some quick research. There really is speculation (not all from loony toons sources) that statins are connected to memory loss, as is a low cholesterol diet.

I am a diabetic and of course the prevailing advice is to reduce fats and keep boodsugar at 6 or less for A1c. And then my metabolic doc (endocrinologist) informed me that fats were not the cause of increased cholesterol problems, CARBOHYDRATES we’re!

Yep, bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and corn. In other words, grains and sugars. Doesn’t matter if its whole grain or processed grains. It all converts easily to sugar. And on top of that are the sugars added to foods that don’t need them like condiments and salad dressings, even spices for tacos for crying out loud!

Even if you aren’t diabetic, it still causes a blood sugar rise, and subsequent efforts to keep it controlled through increased pancratic efforts ..insulin.

My doc said they always suspected carbs were the problem, but until now, they couldn’t prove it.

Add a sedentary lifestyle to it, and the problem maynifies. Even if you have a job, and you are not working physically, like a desk job, or standing in one place, it’s sedentary compared to say..slinging bags of grain, or leading an exercise group..

That’s why keto diet work so well. The majority of calories, say 70-90% of calories are from fats. Protiens is moderate, carbs very low like 20 grams per day. Low carb vegetables are high. Your body converts itself to burn fats for energy, and that includes any excess fats on your body. Weightless naturally occurs.

When things are right, bodies work like the well oiled machines they are intended to be. And you don’t need artificial chemicals to force your body to do what it would do naturally. Artificial means like cholesterol lowering drugs will eventually begin to eat your brain in an effort to supply the cholesterol your body desperately needs. Your brain is mostly cholesterol.

Eat a ribeye, a salad with somnice fatty dressing, and go dancing for the evening ..for good health!

Take a long walk along the river, buck some bales of hay, go to the gym, play some volleyball..but move your a$$ and work up a fun sweat.

Government has the same problem. It has too much money, not enough self discipline, not enough healthy activity, and a bad diet of ..”we’ve always done it this way” so let’s don’t change anything. Goverents reflect the people they are comprised of. People are what the government consumes. It’s only as healthy. As the people who run it.

Our bodies are only as healthy as what we consume and what we do.
