White House aides who steeled themselves for what President Donald Trump would say when he finally addressed the sexual assault allegation against his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh were quietly stunned when Trump said the process should be followed and the accuser should be heard.
In recent days, Trump has bragged about the positive coverage he's received for his response, according to multiple sources. That response has contributed to him continuing to say Christine Blasey Ford should come forward with her story, they said.
As of Thursday, officials felt confident Kavanaugh was back on track toward confirmation.
Those who work closely with the fiery President knew he had privately voiced suspicion about the #MeToo movement, complaining that decades-old allegations could ruin men's lives in an instant. He himself stands accused of various levels of sexual misconduct by 15 women, all of which he has denied....

I am stunned and very thankful at Mr. Trumps thoughtful and limited remarks concerning this matter.
What he says in private is his business.
The President seems to be doing his part to keep the main focus on Kavanaugh and the Accuser, vs all on the POTUS.
Is there a SINGLE NAMED SOURCE that says they were “quietly stunned” in this article?
Trump is a crazy like a fox.
He knows how the media is going to react well before they do.
They just want to pin him with a “Trump’s a woman hater!!” narrative. That’s one of their main (but not only) goals of this entire scam.
If his “aides” haven’t figured out either of these things by now, they are dumbasses. Which is also why I imagine CNN is making-up these so-called “aides” entirely anyway.
The are going to be stuck with her whatever so Trump might as well make a show of being nice. Once she gets in front of the committee there are surely at least a couple of Republicans who will question her in a relevant and business like manner while others will, of course, say basically, “Anything you say, dear.” So long as at least two question her properly Kavanaugh wins it.

The Commie left figured two things would happen with these bogus allegations against Kavanaugh..that A..Trump would be scared and quickly drop Kavanaugh like a bag of potatoes..or B..quickly defend him, call the accuser a liar on TV and the commie media would run to call Trump a sexist bastard..Trump did neither..he handled it PERFECTLY..I bet when he had Kavanaugh over to the White House he asked him to his face if he did this..and Trump knows if someone is lying right to his face..he doesn’t take the BS so he knows Kavanaugh is telling the truth
