Because this is under oath, and the accusation are criminal, Judge Kavenaugh is arguably under legal jeopardy for criminal charges.

But what does the Constitution say about rights in political proceedings like this? Article I Section 5 Clause 2 says that each chamber makes its own rules of its proceedings.
