If you were following the news last week, youre probably aware of the Russian spy-plane that got shot-down during an illegal Israeli attack on Syrian targets. To make a long story short, Israel jet-fighters attacked military targets in Syria, and a Russian surveillance aircraft was caught in the middle, as the Israelis failed to warn the Russians about the impending attack in a timely fashion, hence the Russian surveillance aircraft was hit and downed by Syrias outdated missile systems, being caught between a rock and a hard place so to speak (in the crossfire basically).
Until now, the Syrian army was equipped with old Russian made S-200 SAM systems, but following the incident from last week, when 14 Russian servicemen lost their lives due to the Israeli attack, Russia announced that this aggression will not stand anymore, man, hence it will provide the Syrian army with a more advanced version of their SAM system, the S-300 respectively. The S-300 is not exactly state of the art, but its way better than the S-200 with regard to being capable of recognizing friend from foe.

What...did "The Dude" become a spokesman for the Russian military???
That spy plane really tied the room together.
Russian forces may not be ABLE to “punish” the Israeli forces for bombing targets within Syria.
First, you have to get them in your sights, then you have to USE the capability you have.
The Israelis, on the other hand, have a very high interest in keeping the Syrians from shelling their territory.
I heard that the Russian spy plane crashed because it was heading to a house party with Brett Kavanaugh where he was leading a gang rape.
Israel will find a way to attack even with the newer Russian weapons in place.
Next question?
Will the Russians arm Syria with the most terrible weapon of all? I refer, of course, to the notorious and dastardly:

aka Avanatti?
Frankly, I think the IDF would likely humiliate the Russians in Syria in a dogfight
In the context of attacking Syrian targets, the word, "illegal", sounds sort of queer.
I just thought the wording of the statement was kind of funny...
“We’re not going to stand for it, man!”
That said, if I had to put my money on one or the other, it is going to go on the Israelis every single time.
Nice segue.

LOL!
Israel is more than capable of having it out with the Russians!!!
Russia hasn’t stopped the IAF yet.
I’m thinking that was a typo somewhere...:)
A Russian missile under Russian control got that airplane. It may have been Syrian personnel that fired it but it was cleared by the Russians and ordered by the Russians. They don’ keep track of airplanes so well as, say, Americans or Israelis do.
Yep. The Israelis would hand them their heads on a platter.
This means that Israel will have to destroy the Russian S2 and S3 sites.
Shooting down their own plane indicates that their capabilities are limited. They will not militarily attack Israel.
Avenatti.
