I disagree with the “legal doogie howser” idea. I’m a little nervous suggesting a 38 year-old judge. General maturity issues. Even at 38, someone has a long time to “grow” on the Court. But a carefully-selected justice might hold true. But, I have no hope that a 23 year-old wouldn’t “evolve” over the decades into our worst nightmare.

Lafayette was 18 when Washington appointed him a general over American troops. Alexander the Great was 20 when he began his conquest of the known world.
