Foxconn Technology Group plans to hold five hiring events around the state over the next month as it ramps up hiring for its Wisconsin operations.
The company says its hiring for several hundred positions in areas including human resources, hardware, software and firmware engineering, finance and accounting, legal, business analysis, graphics and interior design, construction management, sales, and marketing.
Candidates interested in attending the hiring fairs and applying for Foxconn positions can pre-register and submit their resumes to https://fewidev.com/events/#/. Only candidates who are shortlisted and assigned interview times will be invited to attend the events.
The events are scheduled for Oct. 13 in Mount Pleasant, Oct. 21 in Racine, Oct. 24 in Eau Claire and Nov. 2 in Milwaukee.
Foxconn previously announced a nationwide effort to recruit military veterans and also held a series of career days at Wisconsin universities.
Foxconn has seen a high level of interest at the veteran, college and public career fairs that we have been attending, and an influx of candidates who want to join our company and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technological projects, said Alan Yeung, Foxconn director of U.S. strategic initiatives. We look forward to engaging with many interested candidates at the statewide hiring days.

Don’t slight my Governor! He closed the deal. Still waiting for some WHINERS in our State Legislature to get their heads outta their backsides, though! (Some tax breaks that some are dragging their feet on. Some Dems, some RINOs.)

Not funny.
Your comment only applies to China not the US; China is a whole different ball game where losing ones job forces a return to the impoverished countryside, unable to ever attract a wife, massive loss of face, and possible starvation. A life sentence of despair and destitution, in other words.
All the while workers in Wisconsin will be getting all imaginable benefits, plus $56,000 - $100,000 a year to start. Not to mention free training and paid college tuition. Know of other foreign mega-companies that want to build here that go this far for their workers? Know of other foreign mega-companies that will require a new city to accommodate them?
Here in WI, only Democrats (led by the erstwhile Gubernatorial candidate Tony Evers former do-nothing school superintendent) want to stop Foxconn.
DJT had nothing to do with it - Foxconn was coming long before DJT was elected.
This is Governor Walker’s baby.
I TOLD top Apple supplier where to build their $10 billion plant boasts Trump - and it turned out to be in Paul Ryan’s district

Nonsense.
UK paper what do you expect..DJT was not even a candidate when Walker was working on Foxconn. Politicians are all the same - believe them at your peril.
