FWIW, I think this was a really dumb idea on Swift’s part because the first thing it inspires someone to do is look at Swift’s sales figs. So if you weren’t already aware they were going in the wrong direction, you are now. These people never think this **** through.
Taylor Swift just completed the top grossing US tour by a female singer of all time, breaking her old all time record by millions...I wouldn’t be tossing flowers in her grave just yet.
Of course it’s a dumb idea. Unless you want to set yourself up as the next Joan Baez (and I doubt Swift has the respect of the college crowd right now) it’s not going to help you.
