Paid leave? WTF? Why is she not in jail? Is it ok to be a party to threatening the life of a Supreme Court Justice?
It is very common for someone to be put on paid leave pending an investigation. It gives them enough hope to leave the building peacefully and they can be notified of termination when they aren’t in a position to harm anyone.
