Tuesday on CNN International’s “Amanpour,” former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said cultural changes like gay marriage caused the right in America to “seek the kind of leadership that will limit freedom.”
Clinton said, “Why is it when the world, and in particularly the West, is by any measure richer and safer and healthier and stronger, what is giving rise to these yearnings not for greater freedom and democracy that lives up to its name—where you don’t try to throw voters out of the role, but you want everyone to vote, what is it that is motivating large numbers of people to seek the kind of leadership that will limit freedom? Starting with the press, academia, political parties. And why is it so many people on the right, in the United States and Europe, look to Putin, a known authoritarian, someone who has journalists and political opponents murdered with impunity? What is going on in the minds of 21st century Americans and Europeans that would lead them to say, ‘You know, I just want to have security, stability? I think we need a strong leader.'”

Gay marriage WAS a threat. Gay marriage IS a threat. Gay marriage will be a threat. And not just to conservatives/GOP.
And not just because of actual gay marriages but because of depraved statists who believe they can and should redefine any cultural and/or religious convention with a view to eliminating it entirely in favor of more state power by reducing any organizational structures that obviate or oppose state power.

Homosexual marriage was not really on my mind when I voted against Hillary Clinton and for America. “We came, we saw, he died” weighed heavily on my mind.
Like those of Obama her statements are pure left wing fantasy. We don’t have any athoritarian government and nothing about Trump ever indicated he is anti- gay. Anyone who thinks that opposing trans genders in the military for financial and other reasons, is anti-gay, is an idiot.

Hillary would much rather we would prefer a geriatric, constantly coughing, falling down, fainting and seizing, weak old woman for a leader.
That’s some authoritarian government we have, we can’t even stop illegal immigrants from pouring across our border.
When Elected, Trump was supportive of Gay Marriage, Obama and Biden were not. Hillary was against it until she was for it.
The only caveat Trump mentioned was that Gay Marriage should be decided by the States, not Justice Kennedy.
Besides her pandering, Hillary is a lesbian with an enormous chip on her shoulder. Anyone who watched her last campaign knows that. She was wearing leather outfits, screaming about LGBT rights, and surrounding herself on stage with nothing but homosexuals.
I’ve always felt that had the Supreme Court not passed gay marriage, Trump would have never gotten the nomination because, he would have been forced to admit he was for gay marriage, which would have made him lose a lot of support from Social Conservatives. Once the issue became a moot point, Trump never had to even address it.
Good. evidently, she’s going to lob some hangers for Trump to hit out of the park.
President Trump is so homophobic that he appointed an openly-gay person as U.S. Ambassador to Germany.
