BEEE UTIFUL Rant!!
Thank you, I needed to rant and wanted to do something constructive with it rather than scaring the neighbor’s cat by just cursing at my phone.
No dif from a land line. 5 a day minimum.
My wife’s phone was getting a dozen Robo calls and scam calls a day so I visited a Verizon outlet and asked for a new phone number. Took 10 minutes and they did not have to open the phone.
One week later and she has had zero Robo calls since the change.. FIXED
I ask the caller if they have heard of the NSA? I explain that the NSA does keyword searches for certain words such as ‘nuclear weapons, chemical warfare, weapons of mass destruction, terrorist attack and Hillary is guilty’. I tell them have a nice visit with the government. I hope the NSA will track them with these words! That’s all can do to help the government since the no call list is a joke.
I actually got a call yesterday spoofing my own number.
The call centers are in the east, but they are all working for US based companies. It would be lovely if some freeper could compile and publish a list of names and phone numbers of the principals of these companies.
I am sure they would love to hear from a whole bunch of us, especially if their home numbers become available.
