Newt would be an interesting choice but he is unreliable or, rather, inconsistent. I don’t think he could be trusted to not say something stupid or to follow the party line. BTW, what’s Newt doing these days? Haven’t seem much of him.
His wife is Ambassador to the Vatican, so I presume he spends most of his time in Rome.
My guess Newt is the idea guy. Space Force, and many other ideas seem Newtonian. The UN would be a step down for him, although he would be very very eloquent in that position. Might be when of the best.
Newt should head up a consult position for new ideas...He’s really one of the Formosa historians and political thinkers in our country.
In summary, I’d say get him in there somewhere.
