More and more, I seem to run into people who have no actual thoughts at all. They have jargon. They string phrases together. It sort of sounds like they are saying something. But they’re not. They’re not saying anything at all. And I’m not sure they realize it.
I’m actually dealing with some engineers right now who do this. It’s a little scary.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has noticed this communication trend among the general population. Artists used to be the only ones who spoke in this manner (usually while describing their art) but unfortunately their empty platitudes have become a linguistic plague in America.
I listed to Cortez’s response and was thinking to myself, “what the hell is she even saying?”, when the host breathlessly chirped, “that’s a really great thought.” I’m not even 40 and I feel completely lost when listening to their gypsy babble.
